DotNet Rocks

I really enjoy the Dotnet rocks podcasts.  Carl and Richard do an awesome job getting some of the best and brightest in the .NET world to talk about the industry and technology in general.  If you have not listened to any of their podcasts, go do it now.  You will not regret it.

They recently did a podcast with Kevin McNeish on DSLs.  It was very good but I felt it left out some stuff on the state of the current tools for doing UML modeling (like Enterprise Architect) so I sent them a email.

Now I must apologize for some of that email up front.  When I write emails I tend to be more terse then I should and just jump into what I want to say.  Comes from too many years in corporate environments where you need to read and sometimes reply to hundreds of emails a day.  I am working on that, but in the heat of the moment sometimes I forget (I even forgot to tell them my snail mail address so no swag for me :-)).

So I added some more details on my author page by referencing my profile on linkedin.com.  Drop me a comment if I need to do more and I will.  I will also pass on any comments to the rest of the elegant coders.

kick it on DotNetKicks.com

  1. Apparently I was wrong on the swag thing. Karen Bryant with franklins.net contacted by email asking for my address to send me some swag. Sweet :-).
