Compelling Change

This has very little to do with TDD directly, although with all the discussion recently that’s the first thing I thought of…

Amazon currently lists 35,000 books for a search on “carpentry.” How is Mr. Bowler Hat ever to finish his doghouse if he has to read them all first?

@Jason – I think the video professor has a “Teach yourself carpentry in 8 hours”, maybe he could get that?

Seriously though, its about continuious improvement, honing your craft. Get one book, learn a few things. Wash, Rinse, Repeat. This doghouse will probably still suck , but the next one will be better! (and get built faster, cheaper and of better construction)

For the record: I think TDD is essential for design, quality, maintainability, extensibility, and over all peace of mind.
