Open Source Terminators?

I saw this robot on sale the other day at Costco – it’s programmed for surveillance, equipped with all sorts of features designed for annoying siblings. How tough would it be to reprogram the primary operation of this from surveillance to “termination?”
Designing autonomous H-K machines sounds way more fun than making LOB apps.
Any good .NET-centric toolkits for doing that sort of thing? If not maybe I should start one…
