By the way, if you ever get a zune you've got a similar set of gymnastics in front of you, as well. I lost hours a few weeks ago trying to get a Zune to work with Server08. It isn't the newest version, but you can get the Technical Preview we released of WLW a few months back at: http://download.microsoft.com/download/8/0/9/809604cd-bd08-42c8-b590-49c332059e64/writer.msi That will install on Windows Server 2k8. In the future, we plan to review the current Windows Live Installer ban of server OSes. Sorry for the inconvenience.
