Jarod Ferguson is a principle craftsman with Guild 3 Software, specializing in enterprise software development and architecture on the Microsoft .NET platform. Before joining Guild3 he was a Lead Software Architect, where he designed and developed a global supply chain trading platform for a leading provider of on-demand supply chain management. Passionate about progressive agile processes like SCRUM and Lean w/ KanBan, Jarod is always on the lookout for a better way to build software.
Jarod finds himself drawn to the latest and greatest offerings from the Open Source Software Community and Microsoft, and likes to stay current by reviewing Community Technology Previews and perusing Open Source code repositories. He participated in the Microsoft Technology Adoption Program for the Entity Framework and the Microsoft Web Client Software Factory advisory board, and has also reviewed Orielly Media technical books. As an active member of the .Net community, Jarod enjoys taking part in local software related events, regional code camps, and national conferences. He blogs on ElegantCode.com. Outside of work he enjoys spending time with his wife & daughter, snowboarding and coaching soccer. He is also a huge soccer & college football fan and can’t seem to get enough HDTV!
