Windows Explorer Tip

I am late to the game with a lot of things and I am probably late on this one
as well, but I am happy as a pig in mud over this little tip.

In WinXP, Windows Explorer

  1. Tools > Folder Options
  2. File Types Tab
  3. Select File Type [Folder]
  4. Click Advanced button
  5. Click New button
  6. In the Action textbox enter
    CM&D Prompt
  7. In the Application usesd to perform action textbox
    c:\windows\system32\cmd.exe /K cd %1

You may now open a command prompt via Windows Explorer by right-clicking on any folder.
Your command window will already be in that folder.
