New Hosting Provider

ElegantCode.com has been running on one of my kids old machines for the last 2 years
and was graciously plugged into the DMZ of my employer with no virus protection to
speak of other than ISA and certainly no backups being performed.  Since I have
a very low tolerance for system administration activities and an even lower tolerance
for losing all of the content that I have amassed to date, I sought out a real, no
kidding hosting provider.

I settled on discountASP.net because it is the one I see most often mentioned in other
places and the price was right.  $90 for 1 year of hosting service and all I
did was FTP my current site up to my new one and then re-point DNS via EasyDNS where
elegantcode.com is parked.

The transition was painless and the response from the site is certainly much improved. 
I seriously doubt that I will be reaching anywhere near my bandwidth allowance, so
no issues there.

The administration console provided by discountASP.net is pretty darned good and I
have done this whole transition without having to talk to a human being.  Not
bad.
