Microsoft gadgets are basically
little programs intended to be accessible from your desktop or the web or wherever.
These things have been available before in the Microsoft environment and forever in

The first time we saw this idea with Microsoft
was with an “Active Desktop” somewhere around Windows 98. I guess you can’t
