An Average Sunday

The New Sammy

This morning, I flew from Boise to Portland and drove this back home. I found it on Craig’s
List
. This internet thing just might catch on!

Lot’s of custom work has been done to it already including Calmini 5″
lift, steering system, low geared transfer case, bushwacker flares, Warn 9000 lb.
winch, massive front bumper, sweet tow bar setup, and a great radio just to name some.
It needs very little to be Moab capable.

Here’s the best part, everything works! The wipers, the lights, the gauges, the window
washers, everything! This is new for me in the realm of cars, but that is a much longer
story.

My 7 year old and I flew to Portland this morning to pick up the Sammy. We took along
only 1 CD to listen to on the way home and if I have to listen to another Chris
LeDeux
song, I will scream. I mean, he’s the man and all, but with only 10 songs
on the CD and maximum speed of 65 mph, I have heard all 10 songs on the disc about
15 times.

This little Samurai is like a 4 wheeler with a heater. I bet it will go just about
anywhere and we are going to have a ball taking it there. I will post pictures of
the first time I use the winch to pull out my buddies with jeeps.

This is my latest and hopefully last in a long list of 4×4 toys. I can’t
