I am here in Minneapolis with 4 of the other crew from work and we are in attendance
at Agile 2006. Last night we at some
of the best Indian food I have ever had at a resteraunt within walking distance and
then came back to the hotel to play pool on slanted tables for an hour or so.
Today’s pre-conference workshops begin at 1:00 and here are my choices:
I think I will be attending Agile Practices 1,
the abstract for which follows.
Mike Cohn, Mountain Goat Software, David Hussman,
SGF Software, Brian Marick, Independent Consultant, Sanjiv Augustine, CC PaceAbstract
This session will contain
four presentations which cover key aspects of agile development: planning and tracking,
writing and telling user stories, testing, and project management. Each presenter
will speak for 45 minutes, providing introductions, examples, and experiences helping
communities employ agile techniques. All the presenters have published on the topics,
and they are currently helping project communities of all sizes and shapes transition
to agile. This session will be beneficial to people new to agile, or using agile and
those looking for more guidance or insight from working professionals.
