I haven’t talked a lot about WF (Workflow Foundation) here, but I may be spending more time on that for the next month or so.
Firstly, I wrote a HOL (Hands on Lab) for Microsoft on creating workflows in Test-First manner and it just went live! The way you do these labs is VERY cool. You don’t need a development environment on your machine. The lab environment is spooled up for you in a virtual cloud and a browser plugin lets you remote control the machine.
The coolness factor of the HOL environment alone is worth the price of entry. Try it here! You can even start the lab and come back to finish it later.
Next, I am working on a top secret series of WF HOLs in December that will look at other aspects of WF. These labs will be on WF in .NET 3.5, not the sweetness of WF 4.0, but we’ll get there.
Stay tuned.
