Now don’t get me wrong, I am a Microsoft developer
to the core. I embrace their new developer focused initiatives and think .Net is the
greatest thing since, well, Java. With all of that, I still have to ask why in the
world they have to make their product offerings so complex as to need to offer a “personal
assistant” to navigate their maze of products and how to use or buy them.
Microsoft launches new
developer support program“Microsoft also
launched an “Adopt an ISV” program where Microsoft employees
are paired with software makers to offer assistance and guidance on how to work with
the software giant. Already 800 Microsoft workers,
including some senior executives, have signed up to be a buddy.”
