Hey Silverlight gals and pals,
Looks like the RTW of the Silverlight tools has arrived. I know what you are thinking, Hasn’t Silverlight 4 already shipped? Yes it has, but the tools team has a dependency on the runtime, so they cannot finish their stuff until the runtime has shipped, hence the beta of the tools were up until today. You can find the Silverlight 4 tools here:
http://www.silverlight.net/getstarted/silverlight-4
I know they made a lot of improvements to the design experience in Visual Studio 2010. As a Silverlight developer, I still think Blend is the way to go. The tools update is also available in the Web Platform installer. You can get it from here:
Install – Using the Microsoft Web Platform Installer
Other new s: WCF RIA Services just dropped there 1.0 release. I have been using RIA Services pretty much since the beginning and have nothing but positive things to say about it. There are some hurdles, but once you get the hang of it, you won’t look back. You can find some good information RIA Services here:

Here is the link for WCF RIA Services 1.0 release:
Install the WCF RIA Services Toolkit
Have fun updating!
Happy Coding,
Bill Moore

Pardon me for not knowing, what is RTW?
RTW = Release To World
I actually that it meant release to Web, but I may be wrong.
Actually you are all wrong. RTW = Release to Whatever! Just kidding.
RTM = Release to Manufacturing, or the process of making CDs, putting them in a box, and then getting them out to customers. RTW = Release to Web, which is making something available for download.
So Bill, you are not wrong.
