Idaho is on Fire

There are currently several large forest fires burning here in my home state of Idaho. 
The grand scale of these fires is hard to explain if you have not seen the effects
yourself.

Here
in Boise, the air quality indicator has been at level read (bad) for the last couple
of weeks.  You can actually smell the smoke in the air at times and in extreme
cases one can see a heavy haze in the air. 

Last weekend, my 6 year old daughter and I got on the Beemer and rode north into the
center of Idaho and made a circle back down again over dirt roads in the interior. 
These photos show some of the scenes of smoke that we saw, causing cars to drive with
their lights on in the middle of the day.
