Arrived in Newark

Here I am in New Jersey after a night on 3 airplanes to get here. New Jersey is not
what I expected, it is actually much nicer than I had been lead to believe. There
is a lot of greenery here and it reminds me very much of the Queen Anne or Ballard
sections of Seattle. I am sure that, as with any other place, it has a lot to do with
what part of the state you are in. I am in North Central NJ, at the home of Andrew
Fekete, owner of the new Adventurer’s
Workshop
.

I cannot say enough about his and his wife’s hospitality. Andrew has been kind enough
to let me take some time to get cleaned up and get my gear sorted out here at his
house (and let me use his computer). Very good people. Patronize Andrew’s new business
and you won’t be disappointed.

We are going over to Garden State in
a little while to pick up the
GSPD
and then I will be on my way. I don’t know how far I will make it this evening,
but I am hoping to make Knoxville by tomorrow night.

By the way, if you don’t have a wife cool enough to let you take a roadtrip like
this, I highly recommend getting one. Thanks, Elle, I love you.
