Internal Marketing

I recently had an occasion to visit Microsoft and talk to a genuinely superb project
team.  In the conference room that we were using for our discussions, there were
several posters on the wall that had data flow type drawings on them along with other
things.

I looked a little closer at these full color posters during the breaks that we had
and discovered that the posters were ads for internal APIs and Visual Studio enterprise
templates that developers could tap into at Microsoft
I was stunned.

Think about this for a second.  These people have such good budgets that they
can take the time and money to put together a marketing package for internal tool
sets.  I am green with envy.  That is so cool.
