The Sigma Protocol by Robert Ludlum

Is a book plot involving an international cabal of ex-nazis running the
cold war era Western ecomomies implausible? You bet your ass it is.

Is it even more ridicuous that the super-secret agenda of this cabal
is to stop the aging of high powered government officials by injecting them with the
spinal fluid of 3rd world refugee children? Damned spanky.

But, Robert Ludlum’s The
Sigma Protocal
proposes just these scenarios. OK, this guy has gone
off the deep end. The Bourne books were masterpieces, but I’m afraid that the lack
of a good cold war has left this man with nothing plausible left to write about.

Goodbye, Robert. I enjoyed you while it lasted.
