Dreamland – Razor’s Edge by Dale Brown

I am not a hug fan of techno-military novels, but I thought I would give this
one
a try as the author is very popular. Oddly, as an Air
Force veteran, I am not particularly fond of air battle stories either.

Given that this novel was both an air war and techno type book, I would
have given it a pass had it been even plausibly good. But, lo, I cannot.

Get this, one of the main characters is a major who is still on flight
duty in a B-52 although he cannot walk and is in a wheelchair. Plot buster #1.

Next, the major in the wheelchair is (are you ready?) married to the
female pilot. Give me a break.

As if this weren’t enough, the female pilot is the daughter of her commanding
officer.

Absurd. Ridiculous. Unlike the unrealistic but charming Ludlum, I will
never read another Dale Brown novel again.
