Proline Sports Wind Jammer II

Category:UncategorizedTag: :

I have been using an HJC
Symax helmet
and I find the helmet very noisy. In addition to that, I have been
riding to work in the mornings lately and here in Idaho it is running about 30 degrees
Fahrenheit in the mornings.  Pretty cold for a bike.  I have been wearing
a balaclava to combat the cold, and have always worn earplugs to combat the wind noise.

I received a new piece of motorcycling gear in the mail yesterday and I will
never ride another winter without it.  The Proline
Sports Wind Jammer II
is a helmet skirt that fits around the base of your helmet
and seals to your neck.  I was dubious about this device before I tried it as
I hate things tight around my neck and my Symax is a modular flip up helmet.

The neck fit is not too tight at all.  The seal around the base of the helmet
is perfect.  The only issue is that to open my flip helmet, I do have to unseal
the device, but that is a small price to pay for the comfort of a quite ride and a
warm head.

I cannot tell you how much this thing reduces the wind noise of this very leaky helmet.
That alone was worth the price of admission ( about $15.00 ) and I will wear this
thing even in the summer unless it just roasts me out of helmet.  If you ride, buy
one
, you’ll love it.
