Prescriptive Build Notification

I gots me a fever, a fever for build notifications and the only prescription is CruiseControl.Net
Tray
. Monitoring your Cruise Control builds has never been so exhilerating, so
positively thrilling!

I have taken myself out of our email build notification group because of this application.
The application runs in my system tray and shows a notification balloon like Instant
Messenger. It can also be configured to play different sounds upon successful or failed
builds. When you open up the main window, the projects that you have chosen to monitor
are sortable by the column headers, so you can see what projects have recently built.
Clicking on one of the projects will take you to that project’s build web page. The
really sweet part is being able to see the status of all builds at a glance. The red
ones are bad, by the way.

This little window below is a thing of beauty, especially when you right click one
of the projects on it and get to force a build.
