Vista + dasBlog = Works

I recently griped
a little
about dasBlog pulling
from the registry of the hosting machine.  This caused an error condition under
MS Vista, due to Microsoft moving some values around in the registry.

Thanks to some tips from a couple of helpful comments, I just pulled the head branch
from the daily build and it runs just fine on my Vista machine. Thank you very much,
fellas!

I looked through the dasBlog
change log
, but didn’t see to whom I could attribute this particular fix.

  1. How did you configure security on the content, logs and siteConfig dirs? I don’t seem to have an ASPNET account on my machine. I have configured NETWORK SERVICE to give it write access to these three dirs but I’m getting an error when dasBlog tries to write to my content dir.
