STOP! The Build is Broken!
So you all know how it is, the build breaks and no one seems to know about it. “I didn’t see the email”…”My tray notifications aren’t working”…”I thought Elvis was going to fix it, he usually does”.
Well no more! We received our stoplight today, and were going to get this sucker wired up to the CI process. You know you have always wanted one… Ok…well I have anyway.
Check it out:
(Stoplights seem much smaller when there hanging 20 feet above your car)
You can thank me later 🙂
Pish, you bought yours?! I just recently finished refurbishing my traffic light that used to be outside of the Blackfin building 🙂
Really crappy pic: http://plusplusungood.com/trafficlight.jpg
If you call the ACHD, you can get an appointment to tour their scrap yard, and they’ll usually just give you whatever traffic lights you want.
I’m in the process of writing an instructable on how to clean it up… next up, wiring the thing up with an arduino.
Sweet! That is way better than my lava lamps.
What is yellow for?
@jason – That’s awesome. ACHD huh?
@david – Yellow is for when it is currently ‘building’ (like CCTray). We are talking about using a combination ‘Red & Yellow’ for building when last known state was failed, & ‘Yellow & Green’ for building when last known state was good. I think just yellow for ‘currently building’ would be a good start.
That’s awesome!
The next step is to incorporate shame with the BROKEN BUILD TOKEN!!!!
