Paint.Net 3.0

I have been using Paint.Net for years.  Paint.Net is a YAIE (Yet Another Image Editor) Windows application.  It is free and beats the heck out of anything you get baked in to your OS.  It is much easier to use than Photoshop and did I mention it’s free?

I love the origins of this application; It began as a student project at Washington State University in eastern Washington state.  From the Paint.Net website:

It started development as an undergraduate college senior design project mentored by Microsoft, and is currently being maintained by some of the alumni that originally worked on it. The Paint.Net team just shipped v3.0, up from v2.  Go grab it and associate it with your image file types.
